On the biggest stage in the biggest match, Beaverton sophomore Eli Roe came through in the biggest way Saturday night, winning the championship at 157 pounds at the Division 4 Individual State Wrestling Tournaent.
Roe placed second two weeks prior at the regional to qualify for the main event at Ford Field in Detroit.
