BEAVERTON
There were three opponents in the gym last Wednesday night and the Beaverton volleyball team beat two of them at a quadrangular meet.
The Beavers won the first set, but went on to fall to Saginaw Nouvel 23-25, 25-18, 25-23.
They rallied to mow down Saginaw United 25-15, 25-7 and then pulled out two close battles in a 25-23, 25-23 victory over LeRoy Pine River.
