The weather held the Beaverton girls’ basketball team to only one game last week and it may as well have snowed again.
The Beavers were in Shepherd on Friday and had a rough night offensively in a 44-39 loss.
The Blue Jays led most of the night, but never by an overwhelming margin.
It was 12-9 at the end of the first quarter and Beaverton rallied in the second to forge a 22-22 halftime tie.
