Celebrations were common when the Beaverton soccer team rolled to an 11-0 victory over Oscoda in the first round of the district tournament last week.

After losing five games in a row to close the regular season, the Beaverton soccer team had a little surprise in store when it kicked off the Division 4 district tournament last Tuesday.
A depleted Oscoda team dealing with behind-thescenes issues showed up and the Beavers put all their troubles behind them with an 11-0 victory that ended at halftime due to the mercy rule.
