Iwould like to add some more information to my article last week about the two police vehicles that were approved for purchase by the Gladwin County Board of Commissioners at their meeting on Tuesday, July 11. The vehicles were approved to be purchased with funds from the American Rescue Plan (ARPA).
That way there is no impact on the County General Fund or the County’s cash position. I also want to add that police vehicles are not easy to come by, with the vehicles and American Rescue Plan (ARPA) funds being available there was an opportunity to secure the vehicles as there was a several month or longer timeframe of when any vehicles would be available.
