The Gladwin junior varsity football team fell to 6-2 on the season with a 22-20 loss to visiting Meridian Thursday night.
“It was a disappointing loss,” said Flying G’s coach Justin Cherry, “but I think we learned a lot, especially about how in tight games mental mistakes (like false start penalties) can be crucial.
“There is a lot for the boys to learn from a game like that.”
