    Playing on the road in a Jack Pine Conference crossover against a Division 1 team, the Beaverton junior varsity football team put up a fight in a 32-18 loss at Standish.

    “Our effort was really good for four quarters,” said Beavers coach Aaron Wentworth. “We had some big nights for a few of the kids, so that was exciting.”
