The 2024-25 high school sports season kicked off Friday when the Gladwin soccer team hosted Tawas and the fireworks began early with a goal in the first two minutes.
Unfortunately for the home team, the Braves scored it and, by the time the game was over, the Braves had them all in a 4-0 victory.
It was an eye-opening opener for a Flying G’s squad that went 17-2-0 last season.
