The broiler chicken contest was held at the fairgrounds this past week. 4-H club students lined up with chickens in tow to have a judge inspect and rate their projects. Several red and blue ribbons were given to award the students on their projects, which means there are plenty of good healthy birds to auction.
The champion single bird went to Kaylee Milks from Farm Central 4-H club. …
