Colette “Kelly” Otto

Colette “Kelly” Otto lost her long battle with breast cancer on Saturday morning March 2, 2024. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. Putting the essence of Kelly into mere words is not an easy task. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, wonderful daughter, mentor as a sister and best Nana ever! She was a dedicated caring friend who was always willing to help anyone in need. Kelly was a true warrior. She faced all obstacles with a positive outlook and spent most of her time worrying and looking out for others. She was kindhearted, never judged and always found good in everyone. Kelly was the true meaning of an angel living among us. She had a smile that could light up any room. She was a beacon of light that even in death could never be extinguished. Her memory and loving soul will be cherished as it continues to be a guiding light for us all. Kelly enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and two dogs. Cheering on her favorites race teams year-round, whether it was snowmobiles or cars. She loved pontoon rides at the cottage and weekend adventures with her bestie.

Kelly was proceeded in death by her mother, Karen Donn of Gladwin and her father, Doyle Donn of Gladwin. Kelly is survived by her loving husband, Michael Otto of Farwell; sons, Taylor (Brittany) Otto of Farwell and Cameron (McKenzie) Otto of Farwell; grandchildren: Easton, Lincoln, Cayde, Maya and Brayden. She is further survived by her brother, Troy (Kim) Donn; sister, Jennifer (Gary) McCulloch; nephews: Tyler (Kelly) Donn, Stephen (Laura) Donn; nieces: Alyssa (Grant) Fritz and Dakota Mcguire. Kelly also leaves behind an abundance of friends.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Farwell Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to MyMichigan Hospice.
