The Gladwin junior varsity boys’ basketball team wrapped up an outstanding regular season with a 41-25 victory over visiting rival Beaverton Thursday night.
The Flying G’s led 14-8 at the end of the first quarter and then opened up a 28-12 halftime lead that was never in jeopardy.
Brody Verellen led the winners with 13 points. Ben Verellen added 12 and Colton Pfenninger had seven.
