Gladwin, Beaverton open JPC wrestling season with wins

    After a week’s delay due to the weather, the Jack Pine Conference dual meet season finally got underway last Wednesday.

    Gladwin played host to Beaverton, Meridian and Pinconning and both the Flying G’s and Beavers went 2-0 on the night.

    Gladwin was locked in a tight battle with Meridian midway through the meet, but pins from Nick Brasseur and Tricia Pyrzewski secured a 4831 win. The Flying G’…
