Robert Webber
Robert Webber, age 79, of Gladwin, Michigan, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, went to be with the Lord on Sunday November 12, 2023. He was born November 29, 1943 in Saginaw Michigan, the son of Walter and Luella Webber.
After high school Robert served in the US Army Reserves 357th Military Police Co., as a Staff Sargent E-6. Robert married his wife Leanna on August 24, 1992 on the beach in Traverse City, Michigan.
Robert and Leanna moved to Secord Lake in Gladwin, Michigan in 1993. He retired from KUKA Assembly and Test (formerly B&K Corporation) in 2008 as the Vice President of Engineering after 25 years with the company.
Robert lovingly cared for Leanna in their home during a long illness until her death in February of 2019.
Robert was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Luella; his wife, Leanna; sister, Rose King; sister, Mary Lou May; and brother, Frank. Surviving Robert is his sister, Alice Wesolek; his daughters, Mariann (Penney) Hlavacek and Jennifer (Keith) Nelson; and son, Robb (Anita) Webber, grandchildren Jacob and Hannah Penney, Calvin (Rachel), Brandon (Noel), and Blake Webber; and Zach, Riley, and Maggie Nelson, as well as great-grandchildren, Quinnlee, Sullivan, and Archer Webber.
Honoring Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
