Marcia L. Smith (Lynn), beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, october 12, 2023 at the Toni & Trish House, surrounded by loved ones. She was born February 20, 1954 to the late Lucille Knox and Arthur Jordon in Rockwood, TN.
Lynn enjoyed cooking for her many friends at Cleveland Manor, going to bingo, spending time with her family, playing cards, and going out to eat with her best friend, Lana Varner. Lynn had an infectious smile and made friends wherever she went. Lynn had a way of making everyone that she met feel special.
Lynn is survived by her two daughters, Shannon (Joshua) LaLonde of Midland, MI and Trinity Babcock of Gladwin, MI; grandchildren, Marcia, Maggi, Alexandra, Elijah and Logan; great-grandchildren, Lennon and Gabriella.
In addition to her parents, Lynn is preceded in death by her husband, Earl C.
Smith; sister, Susie; brother, Bobby; grandson, Kyle; and her special friend, Doug.
The family would like to thank the Toni & Trish House and the numerous volunteers for the outstanding care, love and support they provided Lynn and her family and friends.
At the request of Lynn, cremation has taken place and a luncheon and celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cleveland Manor Community Room, 2200 Cleveland Avenue, Midland MI.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Toni & Trish House in Auburn, MI.
