On Thursday, September 14, at approximately 4:53 p.m., an Ogemaw County Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations within the city limits of West Branch in Ogemaw County. The vehicle, a full-size Chevrolet van, failed to stop for the deputy. The fleeing vehicle was delayed at an intersection before reversing the vehicle back into the deputy’s patrol vehicle, disabling it.
