Rick Hall, age 70, of Gladwin, passed away on July 1, 2023, at his home. He was born on May 23, 1953 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Ernest Hall and Barbara (Bragan) Hall. Rick worked as a Repair Line Technician for General Motors until his retirement. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, woodworking, and spending time with his friends and family. Rick was always there to lend a helping hand when you needed it. Rick met and married the love of his life, Gina Schafer, and together spent many years full of laughter and memories.
Rick is survived by his wife, Gina Hall; daughter, Jennifer (Jay) Cook; son, Jeremy Richard (Brenda) Hall; grandsons, Greyson, Garrett, Nolan, Alex, and Mason; sisters-inlaw, Tammy Schafer and Melissa Schafer; mother and father-in-law, Joanne and George Schafer; sister, Shelly (Art) Whelan; brothers, David Hall, and John (Diane) Collick; nieces and nephews, Laura (Bob) Peavyhouse, Tom (Monica) Koechig, Robb (Jodi) Hall, Art Whelan, Ryan (Nikki) Crosby, Kortlan Crosby, Christopher Whelan, Jordan Whelan, Sarah Collick, Jessica Schafer-Thomas, Kaylee Rowe, Dylan Ostrander, Tristen Ostrander, and Dominique Fittante. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Sherry Alwood, and Roxanne Kehoe.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service was held at Grace Community Church in Gladwin on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 11 a.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
