John Weiss Jr.

John Weiss Jr., age 83, of Gladwin, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023. He was born on May 17, 1940 in Detroit, the son of John Sr. and Lydia (Fisch) Weiss. John was united in marriage to Gloria (Thweatt) in June of 1960. Gloria processed John in death in 2007. He was a truck driver for Deverno Teamsters Union Local 43 until his retirement. John had a true passion for tractor shows and loved attending county fairs.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Sherry Harley, John Weiss, Linda Weiss, and David Weiss; grandchildren, Melissa, Andrew, Alex; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara and Marjie; along with several nieces and nephews.

He is preceeded in death by his wife, Gloria; and sister, Dorothy Wilson.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, 11 a.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation was held at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
