Kirtland’s Warbler 2023 Young Artists Contest winners
Nakiah C., a seventh grader from Deep Creek Middle School on Eleuthera, The Bahamas was selected as the 2023 Kirtland’s Warbler Young Artists Contest first place winner. This year’s contest saw 900 entries, which is an increase over previous years.
2023-24 Kirtland’s Warbler Young Artists Contest calendar 2nd place, to be featured on the back cover of the calendar, is Jon P., a fifth grader from Tarpum Bay Primary School on Eleuthera, The Bahamas.
2023-24 Kirtland’s Warbler Young Artists Contest calendar third place is Kallie K., fourth grader from Brethren Elementary School in Kaleva, MI., to be featured on the inside of the front cover of the calendar.

The Huron-Manistee National Forests (HMNFs) received 900 entries for the 2023 Kirtland’s Warbler Young Artists Contest from kindergarteners thru eighth graders. Overall, entries are up from the 793 received in 2022 from individual students and classrooms across the Great Lakes and The Bahamas.
