Duane A. Roberson Sr.
Duane A. Roberson Sr., age 90, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Midland, MI on June 18, 1932, to the Late James Roberson and Sylvia (Cassiday) Roberson-Nunn.
Duane served his country honorably during the Korean War. Serving in the Army from September of 1952 to August of 1954. He married the love of his life Beverly J (Allen) Roberson on November 5, 1955. Together they shared 63 wonderful years full of love and laughter until her passing on January 20, 2019. Duane is greatly loved and will be profoundly missed by his children, daughter, Christy (Andy) Gary of Gladwin, MI, son, Duane (Joan) Roberson Jr. of Gladwin, MI, and daughter, Michelle (Scott) Evensen of Clare, MI. He will also be missed by his 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and surviving brothers, Ron Roberson and Joe Nunn.
Duane is preceded in death by his daughter, Gloria Lloyd; his son, Ralph Roberson; his brothers, James Roberson, Wilbur (Bud) Roberson, Frank (Pete) Roberson, Jerry Roberson, Stan Roberson, Neil Roberson, Howard Robinson, and a sister, Sally Goff.
A celebration of his life is planned for 2 p.m. at Sage Township Hall in Gladwin, MI on February 4, 2023.
