Thomas Pero Sr., 74, of Beaverton, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023. He was born on December 5, 1948, in Gladwin. He was united in marriage to Sylvia Thomas in 1973, until she preceded him in death in 2001. He later married Jean Alexander in 2006, and they have shared 16 years of marriage together.
Tom was a painter by trade. He loved camping, especially at the Meredith Game Refuge. When he was cutting and splitting wood Tom would spend countless hours working in his garage. He was a father figure to many and always had his doors open.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jean Pero; children, Thomas Pero Jr., Delphine Sharp, Hattie King, Richard Pero, and John Pero; grandchildren, Alexandra Pero, David (Danelle) Flemming, and Steven (Audra) Flemming; great-grandchildren, Cole, Aleigha, Brooklyn, Brayson, Ryker, and Charlotte; sister, Pearl (Bill) Walton; step-children, Orpha Rauff, James Hill, and Daryl Seder Jr.; step-grandchildren, April Hill, Tiffany Hill, James Hill, Harley Hill, Dominic Seder, Thomas Pero Sr.
Katherine Rauff, William Rauff, Robert Rauff, and Cynthia Rauff; along with many step great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Pero; stepson, Gary Richard Hill Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 6, 2023, p.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Friday from noon until the time of services.
