Jeanette Brubaker

Following a short illness, Jeanette Brubaker passed away at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland while surrounded by her family.

She was born in Gladwin on August 6, 1928. She married Robert Brubaker on April 11, 1955.

Jeanette was an active member of the Gladwin Free Methodist Church and served in a number of positions. She was very devoted to her family and especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. She loved painting, sewing, and doll making. She was an awardwinning porcelain doll maker and enjoyed giving her dolls to special people in her life.

She is survived by her children, Dan (Sharon) Tolly of Tampa, Florida, Dianna (Tom) Williams of Warsaw, Indiana, Karen (Bob) Ewald of Laurinburg, North Carolina, Roberta (Ed) Barta of Gladwin; stepchildren, Jan (Constatine) Titi of Pickney, and Marsha Brubaker of Houston, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and special care giver, Stacy Grimmett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Genevieve Young; husband, Robert Brubaker; son, Greg Brubaker; daughter-in-law, Kim Brubaker; brothers, Gerald and Kenneth Young; sister-in-law, Ruth Young; and brother-in-law, Bill Beverlin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gladwin Free Methodist Church, Children’s Ministry. Visitation was held on Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 1-6 p.m. at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel. The funeral was held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Gladwin Free Methodist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
