Rodney Bruce Hoverman, age 70, passed away on November 8, 2022, at his home in Beaverton, Michigan. He was born on February 26, 1952, to the late Edward Lee and Bernice Helen (Schweitzer) Hoverman in Midland, Michigan. In his childhood he was raised on a farm in Auburn, Michigan and attended Bay City Central High School. Rodney loved stock car racing, hunting, fishing, and playing softball.
Rodney is survived by his brothers and sisters, Lillian Wiggins, Daniel Hoverman, Shirley Miner, Saundra Batcke, Linda Mahagan, and Wilbert Hoverman. He is also survived by four nieces and nine nephews.
Rodney is preceded in death by one niece and one nephew.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Ministry, 1492 West Midland Rd., Auburn, Michigan, 48611 with Pastor Brian Michael presiding. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
