Hines to remain City Administrator

GLADWIN

Gladwin City Administrator Kimberly Hines, who was appointed to her post in the winter of 2025 on an interim basis, is now negotiating a contract to remain in her position for three more years after action taken Monday night at the Regular Meeting of the Gladwin City Council.

With the one-year deal Hines signed last summer approaching its end, the Council discussed three options for naming a City Administrator at its most recent Committee of the Whole Meeting, namely offering Hines a two-year extension, a three-year contract with negotiations to follow, or parting ways and beginning a search for her replacement.
