Anew school record and a regional championship in the shot put for Makenzie Price highlighted the Gladwin girls’ track team’s trip to the Division 2 regional at Cadillac Friday.
Price won the gold medal with a throw of 42’10.25” that broke her own school record and made up for a tough day in the discus competition, which saw her three throws in the finals go out of bounds.
