The Beaverton Leo Club recently hosted special guests from the Leader Dogs for the Blind program located in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Members of the Club heard from Jess VandenBoom and learned about the impediments of blindness and the many programs and training offered, including puppy raising, training and use of dogs like special guest Emmit, a retired working dog.
