Five high school students participating in the Future Farmers of America Leadership Contest presented a skit before the Gladwin County Board of Commissioners at its Regular Meeting Tuesday. The presentation in front of a government board was required as part of the competition and (left to right) Brenna Buzzell of Gladwin; Jordyn Schultz, Sophie Milks and Hope Vantiem, of Beaverton and Evelyn Dewey of Farwell discussed issues involving the use of pesticides in agriculture.

Apresentation by five high school students made an impact Tuesday at the Regular Meeting of the Gladwin County Board of Commissioners.
Gladwin’s Brenna Buzzell, Beaverton’s Jordyn Schultz, Sophie Milks and Hope Van Tiem and Farwell’s Evelyn Dewey performed a skit they put together where they discussed issues involving the use of pesticides in agriculture from a variety of viewpoints.
