    The Northern Michigan Championship was held on Saturday to cap an eventful week for the Gladwin and Beaverton wrestling teams.

    The Beavers beat Pinconning 27-24 in a Jack Pine Conference dual meet last Tuesday that featured pins by Greyson McGourty at 113 and Remington Brethour at 138, along with a 7-1 decision from Eric Larson at 126 that was his 100th career victory.
