Hockey team snaps three-game skid
Jacob McKinney finished up in goal in relief of starter Preston Willert with a save and then got to celebrate on the ice with his teammates after Gladwin beat Manistique Saturday.

Athree-game losing streak came to a sudden stop Saturday afternoon when the Gladwin hockey team skated to a convincing 6-2 victory over visiting Manistique.
“We had definitely been in a slump, so it was good to rebound like that,” said Gladwin coach Guy Soulliere. “The morale was high, we got some contributions from some different guys and, hopefully, we fixed a few things.”
