The new year got off to a great start Friday when the Gladwin hockey team skated to a 5-2 victory over the Bay City Wolves.
“We beat a very good hockey team,” said Gladwin coach Guy Soulliere. “We played really well and we were executing at a very high level.”
The win avenged a Dec. 19 loss to the Wolves and took awhile to take shape.
