Gladwin and Lily Miller wrestled at Reed City on Sunday and will host a tournament Friday to kick off the new year.
Gladwin’s Abby Thume placed second at 130 pounds at a recent invitational and is scheduled to return to action Friday when the Flying G’s host a tournament.

With holiday commitments and bad roads cutting into the lineup, the Gladwin girls’ wrestling team sent only seven athletes to Sunday’s Reed City Invitational.
