Verellen second at regional to earn state meet trip
Gladwin’s Ben Verellen finished second at Saturday’s Division 2 regional at Benzie Central to qualify for the state meet at Michigan International Speedway.
Beaverton’s Gage Spencer qualified for Saturday’s Division 3 state meet at MIS by placing 10th at Deckerville’s regional.
With personal records up and down the lineup, the Gladwin boys’ cross country team did what it could to qualify for the state meet at Saturday’s Division 2 regional at Benzie Central.
