    The best way to get ready to hit the fastball is to swing a weighted bat in the on-deck circle.

    The Division 5 playoffs kickoff this week and the Gladwin football team tuned up with a big ol’ lead pipe in the final game of the regular season Friday night.

    The Flying G’s visited Goodrich to take on the defending Division 4 state champions, who headed into the fray on a 21-game winning streak.
