Kiwanis Club says “Thanks”

COMMUNITY THANKS

The Gladwin Kiwanis Club has ended another very successful Sweetest Day Rose Sale fund raiser to support our work with children and youth. The club wants to convey a sincere “thanks” to all who purchased roses to celebrate the “sweet” people in their lives, such as wives, mothers, sweethearts, secretaries, co-workers, etc.

Roses were prepared and packaged by the dozen by club members and eight high school Key Club members the night before delivery to guarantee a fresh product.

The Kiwanis Club also want to say a big “Thank You” to Janice Graves, owner of Village Flowers for all her help and support; first in getting us beautiful roses and second for letting us use her flower shop to prepare the roses for delivery. We couldn’t do this without her.
