Beavers sweep through D-2 volleyball rivals

    BEAVERTON

    The brooms were busy last Wednesday night. A three-set sweep of Pinconning completed a sweep through Division 2 of the Jack Pine Conference and left the Beaverton volleyball team alone at the top with a 5-0 record.

    Beaverton beat the Spartans 25-18, 25-20, 25-12.

    Trinity Danielak came up big with nine kills and 13 digs.

    Taryn Roberts added six kills and six blocks.
