Runners on Gladwin’s junior high cross country teams were decorated with awards after two successful meets last week.

John Bruder Classic at Shepherd Sept. 3
The Gladwin Junior High School cross-country teams traveled to Shepherd for the John Bruder Classic. In all, 28 schools competed in the competition.
In the girls race there were 218 runners. Finishing 43rd overall was Vada Povey, Izzy Hurst was 56th and Chloe Johnson was 70th. Pyper Cushing along with Johnson and Hurst had personal records (PR).
