Even though the Clare football team held a 14-7 lead over Ortonville Brandon at halftime of Friday night’s game at Central Michigan’s Kelly/Shorts Stadium, there was reason for concern.
The Blackhawks had been snake-bitten on offense for most of the game, but finally scored a touchdown on a great catch of a 9-yard pass as time ran out on the second quarter.
