The Beaverton junior varsity football team opened the season with a 14-6 victory at Evart last Wednesday.
The Wildcats scored first at 7:40 of the first quarter to take a 6-0 lead.
The Beavers struck back with 42 seconds left in the half ona 38-yard pass from Dalton Dull to Reese Roggentine. Easton Hess ran in the twopoint conversion and Beaverton led 8-6 at the intermission.
