Gladwin’s original courthouse has a lot of stories behind it.It was built in the new village of Cedar as one of the very first buildings in the town that would later be called Gladwin.When J. S. Holden came to Cedar in October of 1877 to publish the first newspaper here, he noted that there were only six buildings in the town.One was this yet-unfinished brick courthouse....
