Ruth Margaret (White) Thomas, age 98, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025.
Ruth was born in Billings, Michigan, to William White and Hilda Graves. She graduated from Beaverton High School in 1945 and later attended Lansing Community College. In 1949, she married Richard M. Thomas in Midland, Michigan, and together they built a life grounded in love and family.
Ruth had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, hiking, and visiting craft shows. She was especially fond of butter pecan ice cream and the color tan. Known for her independence and spirit, Ruth could be feisty at times, a quality her family cherished.
She is survived by two sons, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, and her beloved husband.
Ruth loved her family dearly, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
