The Gladwin softball team had its struggles against more experienced teams down the stretch, but kept its spirits high right to the end, a pre-district loss to Ogemaw Heights last week. WEST BRANCH
The state tournament ended early for the Gladwin softball team last Tuesday when the Flying G’s lost 14-6 at Ogemaw Heights in a Division 2 Pre-District contest.
Gladwin got some offense going early and was in the game, but defensive mistakes were costly.
Lainey Nash was the losing pitcher. She pitched a complete game, giving up 13 hits and only six earned runs.
