    When the Dept. of Natural Resources announced in January that it was recommending the removal of the dam at Trout Lake, there was a public outcry to save it and grassroots efforts began to bloom.

    Hiedi Phipps and Linda Kurtch made contact with each other on Facebook and have not let it up. They have a Facebook page called Save Trout Lake!, they have contacted government officials, joined a pā€¦
