Travelers will need a compliant document to fly in U.S. starting in May

As the federal deadline approaches, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson said more than 73 percent of people with a Michigan driver’s license or ID have already upgraded to a REAL ID. Beginning May 7, all U.S. airlines will require a REAL ID-compliant document to board a domestic flight, and travelers without one could be delayed.
