GLADWINFirst responders from throughout the community were called to the Gladwin Nursing & Rehabilitation Community at 3270 Pratt Lake Road Friday afternoon after a report that a wing on the west side of the complex was filling with smoke.

Harvest Dinner set for Oct. 16

Pole barn ablaze on Saturday

The Gladwin Rural Urban Fire Department respond ed to a pole barn fire Saturday morning at 631 S. Littletown. The fire was extinguished and the build ing is insured. Secord Township, Butman Township and Beaverton also responded to the call. No one was injured and the cause has yet to be determined.

Harvest Happening slated for Oct. 6

GLADWINAHarvest Happening, for ages 0-12, will take place on Oct. 19, from 4-6 p.m., at Gladwin Church of the Nazarene located at 560 W. M-61.

JEEP CREEP 2025

Riverwalk Place Jeep Creep 2025 will take place on Friday, October 17; and Saturday, October 18, 2025. There will be off-roading, live music, vendors, and fall festivities at Riverwalk Place in Gladwin, MI. All are welcome and this event is free for spectators.

Commissioners discuss wedding planning
