GLADWINThe Gladwin County District Library (GCDL) is looking to fill a position, a Gladwin City resident, on its Board of Directors for a four-year term. The board meets monthly, alternating between the Gladwin Library and the Beaverton Branch Library. Committees convene as needed.
A meet and greet was held last Wednesday at Rivertown Inn to welcome Dusty Welsh, the new Director of Business Services & Economic Development at Michigan Works! Region 7B to the area. Among the community leaders who attended were (left to right) Bob Balzer of Consumer’s Energy, Welsh and Beaverton’s Scott Govitz.
