Gladwin 10th annual ORV Fun Fest wraps up

GLADWIN The 10th annual ORV Fun Fest occurred on August 19, beginning with a parade at 10 a.m. in Gladwin. The parade began at the Gladwin County Fairgrounds and went through town. There were 128 registered off-road vehicles (ORV) and 258 people who attended the event.

Getting through the drug shortages

In the spring of this year, the U.S. saw a larger prescription drug shortage than we’ve seen in 10 years. And we haven’t recovered yet. Part of the problem is that 78 percent of our drugs (or at least a crucial ingredient in each one) are made in foreign countries.
