GLADWIN In memory of loved ones who have died in the recent past, Hospice of Gladwin Area (HGA), has scheduled its Annual Memorial Service. The purpose of the service is to remember loved ones, to honor and celebrate their lives, and to bring a bit of comfort to those who are grieving their loss.

BEAVERTON Members of the Beaverton Leo Club recently worked with Mayor Ray Nau, city, and school staff to remove planted flowers from city planter boxes. Sponsored by the Beaverton Lions Club, the Leo Club has a number of annual projects.

Food distribution at Christ the King

GLADWIN On Saurday, September 16, in the parking lot of Christ the King Lutheran Church, there was another Gladwin/ Beaverton Community Food Distribution. Over 19,500 lbs. of food from the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan was passed out to 235 households, serving 561 individuals.
