Big Boys Club fundraising breakfast

The Big Boys Club of Gladwin County will have a fundraising breakfast on Sunday, July 7, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Secord Eagles Aerie 4121, 3485 Lakeshore Drive, Gladwin. Menu includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, hash browns, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, coffee and juice.

Pancake and Sausage Breakfast slated

The Beaverton First Presbyterian Church will be hosting a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast in their Fellowship Hall on July 4, 2024 from 8-10:30 a.m. Children five years old and under eat for free.

Trail of Two Cities begin extension construction

GLADWINThe Gladwin County Trails Recreation Authority has begun work on the extension of the Trail of Two Cities from the River Road.Trailhead south on City of Gladwin property providing an additional 3,800 feet of trail.The extension is expected to be completed before the end of summer.

Alpena man found guilty of making false claims against MSP Troopers

Accessible mental health care

Veterans no longer have to pay the copays for the first three outpatient visits for mental health and substance use disorder care during each calendar year ... until the end of 2027. If any copays were paid going back to June 27, 2023, those costs will be reimbursed automatically.
