BEAVERTONWhen the name of the city is Beaverton, it’s not surprising whenever cutting down trees becomes an issue.At the most recent regular meeting of the city council, Mayor Ray Nau announced a plan to remove the trees on Brown Street downtown that have become a nuisance.

CLARE COUNTYOn Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 4:16 a.m. the Clare County Central Dispatch received a request from the Grand Traverse County Sheriff Office to be on the look out for a red in color 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. This vehicle was reported taken by the owner’s 12-year-old son.
