GLADWINOn Aug. 14, 4-6:30 p.m. the Knights of Columbus Fish/Shrimp fry charity is for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library gifts books without charge to families of children aged birth to 5-years-old. Books are mailed directly to their homes each month.

GLADWINGladwin Area Friends of the Theatre will have auditions for this fall’s comedy, “A Jukebox For The Algonquin” at its theatre (524 E. Cedar Ave, Suite B in Gladwin) on Aug 18-20 from 6-8 p.m., with one more tryout Saturday, Aug. 22, from 12-2 p.m.
