New local forester Mike Dittenber leaves nothing to chance when helping people identify a leaf at the Gladwin County Recreation Area last week.

The Gladwin Conservation District held a “Meet the Forester” gathering last Tuesday at the Gladwin Recreation Area to introduce Mike Dittenber, who has been named Forest Assistance Program District Forester for Gladwin and Clare counties.
